This blog is a compilation of reflections, thoughts, feelings, insights and experiences that I face each day as The Hugger Busker. It is as much a personal journal as it is a professional one.

For those of you who are new to blogging, you will be able post comments on the daily entries that I have made in the Journal, as well as link to specific areas in the journal. On the left of the page you will find a Calendar, Search Bar, Archives and Categories any of which will take you from the most recent to the earliest entries. With these you will be able to navigate my journal and keep track of your postings with ease. To return to the web site simply close this window.

There are several categories; A New Beginning, July/August 2004, Fall 2004, Spring 2005, July/August 2005, Fall 2005 & Spring 2006.

1. A New Beginning describes how I began busking and the creation and development of the Hugger Busker. June 2004

2. July/August 2004 and Fall 2004 are a daily account of my experience of offering Free Hugs through out the summer and fall of 2004.

3. Spring 2005 picks up where I left off last year detailing a new season of busking. April, May, June 2005.

4. July/August 2005 and Fall 2005 cover the period with the summer and fall entries of 2005.


DAILY SAYINGS
Each day after setting up I sit on the groung in front of my blackboards and silently wait for a short phrase that I can write on my blackboard, something that will being meaning to my actions. These words become my inner motivation and guiding light for the day. It is usually inspired by how I feel that morning or by something I witnessed or heard. You will find these daily sayings at the beginning of each day's entry. The only time I don't write a saying is when I work in the Old Port because I need to use my blackboards differently.
